haha! she's back! dear god, it's me Margaret... kidding!
i cannot think of a more fitting day to get back on the horn with my blog!! it has been too long people. today was amazing! luckily, (sort of) i was home waiting on Verizon and got to watch the ceremony on tv before heading into the office. i was definitely emotional on more than 3 occasions! how can you not be?! even aretha and her bizarre, star-shaped hat was in full effect for the inauguration festivies! for the first time in my adult life i can say that i truly feel more connected as a human being to others around me than ever! more so even than 9-11.
what a great way to start off a cold, January day then witnessing history in the making (from the comforts of my couch and pj pants)! i am sure that the sheer amount of people who were present in DC today will have lasting memories and will share them often with friends, family, their grand kids, etc. wouldn't you?!!
all i can say is...BARACK is in the house!
